—
My name is Mia Paige, and I am a professional voice actor.I put all of my energy into every character I represent, whether it be in video games, animation, commercials, e-learning or narration. I specialize in youthful voices, perfect for any young girl or boy, energetic best friend, or even a shy teen.I began classical vocal training at eight years old, learning and growing thanks to the help of many wonderful professionals. With my very limited eyesight, I have always relied on my keen sense of hearing to guide me through my vocals and performances. This led me to seek the best equipment possible for my high register, and allows me to send pristine audio to meet all of my clients’ needs.Your stories are special, and should be treated with the utmost care and respect. The next time you need a voice, you can rely on me; Mia Paige.—

My Blindness
Mia was born with a rare eye disease called congenital glaucoma. At nine months old, she went completely blind in her right eye, and her left has always been legally blind.Using the vast amount of available assistive technology, she reads and performs using the same scripts as her sighted colleagues with ease. With magnification tools and color contrast, her speaking speed is unmatched.Mia encourages directors and audiences to embrace and welcome artists from the disabled community, and to not shy away out of fear or misconceptions.“Casting isn’t just about diversity. It’s about telling real and authentic stories from real and authentic people with unique perspectives.” she says. For more questions relating to her vision, you can email Mia here: [email protected]
